Welcome
to the Franklin - Lamoille Fire School!
It’s time to reignite the once popular northern Vermont school after a 14
year hiatus. The mutual aid associations from both Franklin and Lamoille
counties were both looking to have training closer to home. Conversations about
the forgone fire school led to the formation of a committee with individuals
from both counties charged with the task of rekindling the school. The committee
quickly adopted the “can do” attitude, that most firefighters have, and have
come up with a list of basic and advanced technology classes. So mark your calendars for the weekend of September
19th and 20th, 2009 and plan to come to beautiful Highgate, Vermont.
Dedication
This year the Franklin Lamoille Fie School is proud to dedicate the 2009
school to all Firefighters and EMS personnel that have answered the Final Call.
Before the final call each Brother and Sister was a teacher in their own way.
They taught us the fundaments of our jobs, but they also taught us compassion.
There is one thing that everyone has in common. That is their dedication to
family and friends, and there communities, through their volunteerism.
That is the Dedication and Service we will never forget.
