Welcome
to the
Franklin - Lamoille Fire School
September 18 and 19, 2010 |
 |
It’s time to reignite the once popular northern Vermont school. The mutual aid associations from both Franklin and Lamoille
counties were both looking to have training closer to home. Conversations about
the forgone fire school led to the formation of a committee with individuals
from both counties charged with the task of rekindling the school. The committee
quickly adopted the “can do” attitude, that most firefighters have, and have
come up with a list of basic and advanced technology classes. So mark your calendars for the weekend of September 18 and 19, 2010 and plan to come to beautiful Jeffersonville, Vermont.

Dedication
This year’s School is dedicated to those we serve both victims and survivors. We train, we respond, we mitigate, and we learn from our experiences. Through all this, we as responders move on to the next emergency call, but for the people we serve it stays forever in their minds.
Today we gather to sharpen our skills and broaden our knowledge in an effort to help our neighbors when ever they call upon us. Remember it may seam like a routine call for us, it is an emergency for the people who placed the call . Lets use our skills and knowledge so that those we serve and our fellow responders all come away as survivors not victims.
